For eligible paid estimate products, StelaHome may offer a refund of the purchase price as a limited contractual remedy. This policy is not an accuracy guarantee, performance warranty, or promise that platform estimates will match real-world contractor pricing.
If StelaHome approves a request under this policy, the sole remedy is refund of the amount paid for the specific report or product at issue. No user is entitled to reimbursement for labor, materials, delay costs, consequential damages, professional fees, or any other losses beyond the purchase price.
A user requesting a refund should expect to provide the original report identifier, the relevant contractor quote or supporting documentation, evidence that the compared scope is materially similar, and any other information reasonably requested to evaluate the claim. StelaHome may deny requests that involve mismatched scope, emergency pricing, upgrades, hidden damage, stale reports, or insufficient documentation.
StelaHome will attempt to review requests within a commercially reasonable time, but review timing is not guaranteed. Where a refund is approved, payment timing is subject to the payment processor and financial institution involved.
StelaHome may update or discontinue this policy for future purchases. The policy version in effect at the time of purchase will govern that purchase, subject to applicable law. Nothing in this policy expands StelaHome’s liability beyond the refund of the purchase price for an eligible request.
