StelaHome is committed to making stelahome.com usable for everyone, including users with disabilities. Our accessibility goal is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. We treat accessibility as an ongoing design and engineering responsibility, not a one-time audit.
We use semantic HTML, keyboard-navigable interactive components, accessible naming for icons and controls, sufficient color contrast, scalable typography, focus indicators, and screen-reader friendly imagery. We test core flows — account signup, address input, report viewing, and repair-guide playback — with assistive-technology workflows in mind.
No production application is perfect. Some pages may include third-party content (payment forms, embedded maps, or external dataset previews) that does not yet meet WCAG AA. Where we depend on a third-party surface (for example, Stripe Checkout), we link to that provider’s accessibility statement instead of substituting our own.
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on the site, please contact accessibility@stelahome.com with the URL, a description of the barrier, and the assistive technology you were using. We respond to accessibility reports within ten business days and we maintain an internal log of reported issues, fixes, and target remediation dates.
We conduct internal accessibility reviews on a recurring cadence and at every material navigation or design change. We also engage external reviewers as needed. Where a review uncovers a non-conforming element, we treat the fix as a defect, not as an enhancement.
This statement covers stelahome.com and the authenticated StelaHome platform. It does not cover external links to third-party websites or to government data sources we display.
